Bought this last year for around $400 (open box) and it proved to be an excellent choice. The sink is a breeze to keep clean and is of very heavy construction. Be sure to get the Blanco Grid also...can't imagine not having it. That grid BTW needs to be cleaned often, top and bottom. It seems to catch and hold everything food related. Need to comment; I vacillated on this sink or the smaller version (even made cardboard mock-ups to aid in my decision). Given that, let me make it easy on you....get this oversize one! You will not be disappointed. Blanco excellent product!
I am bit disappointed with this sink, first I didn't notice that it doesn't come with the drainer, so you need to buy it aside, which I am trying to do, but can't find any color match to it. The brand name doesn't appear anywhere on the sink, so that keeps me wonder if it is a real Bianco product. Since when you see it at the stores you can see the brand name. Haven't install it yet, I will be back with final review.
UPDATE: it’s been over two months and my sink still looks brand new. Super easy to clean. Just follow the manufactures recommendation on how to clean it. Most of the time I just wipe it out with a micro fiber cloth. The last two photos are the most recent for this update.This sink arrived in perfect condition. Super easy to clean. We love it! I’ve cleaned pots, pans and cast iron in it. No scratches or marks. Drains good too!
We have had this white sink now for 3 years. I really enjoy it! It’s super large and can hold so many dishes. I did buy the protective grate and that had kept the sink from getting chipped or too damaged. It is hard to clean, but a magic eraser does wonders. I haven’t seen any other cleaner that works just as well. I would buy it again. It’s beautiful and functional. Just bulk up on magic erasers!
We have had the sink installed for about two months now. It is so beautiful! Very easy to clean and the cinder color matches well with my new Calacatta quartz countertops.My three teenaged kids have not exactly been easy on it either, dropping dishes and utensils in it many times. So far it has held up nicely and looks like it did the day we installed it.And I love having a single bowl; I won’t ever go back to having two bowls. It makes it so much easier to hand wash large pans and baking sheets.
